The original MeMO Pad™ was ASUS’s foray into the entry-level tablet market, with the range consisting of two Android tablets (MeMO Pad™ and MeMO Pad™ Smart) sans keyboard docks. Now the company is taking a second bite at the cherry with the ASUS MeMO Pad™ HD 7 and the MeMO Pad™ FHD 10.

The ASUS MeMO Pad™ HD 7 showcases significant improvements over its predecessor. It now packs a MTK8125 quad-core processor, a 10-point multitouch 1280 × 800 resolution IPS display; as well as trinkets like ASUS SonicMaster technology paired with stereo speakers for quality audio.

The ultraportable MeMO Pad™ HD 7’s compact 196.8 × 120.6 × 10.8mm (W × D × H) dimensions weigh in at 302g. And it is available in stylish pink or green hues, or for the traditionalist – white or dark blue. The chassis houses a front-facing f/2.0 aperture, 1.2-megapixel camera with ASUS Camera 3.0 and can take stunning HD images as well as 720p videos at 30 frames per second. A 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus is also available as an option. If that isn’t enough, there’s also Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS support as standard.

If size does matter and you’re looking for a full tablet experience, then meet the MeMO Pad™ HD 7’s bigger brother – the 10.1-inch ASUS MeMO Pad™ FHD 10. The MeMO Pad™ FHD 10 sports 10-finger multitouch, LED-backlit display and measures a slim 9.5mm and weighs a shade under 600g. ASUS Splendid™ color enhancement technology and a 178-degree wide-view angle ensures clear stunning visuals and 1080p video playback even when viewed from extreme angles. Pair this with the supreme sound from its stereo speakers with SonicMaster technology and Maxx Audio, and you’ve got a potent mobile entertainment platform on your hands.

Like its 7-inch brethren, it comes with a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera, but with the 5-megapixel rear cam as standard. The MeMO Pad™ FHD 10 also has the ASUS Studio editing suite complete with photo editor and social media integration so you can share your photos as soon as you’re done with them. MeMO Pad™ HD7.

With the MeMO Pad™ HD 7 and MeMO Pad™ FHD 10, ASUS is redefining the whole all-rounder standalone tablet category.
